The end-grain surface is polyurethane and easy to clean. End-grain tables are used in restaurants and last for years. Legs and the skirt are made of hardwood. The Amish design is different for each piece, and no two tables are alike. The tree species are from my farm in Wisconsin and are chosen by the craftsman reflecting his artistic vision.
