Neo Empire Dining Table
This piece was born from the legs which came to me like in a vision. With the help of our master carpenter I started drawing until we got a tapered, rounded, sexy leg. Then we proportioned the ring which was to interface the leg to the tableâs skirt. Stepping back to examine our work we discovered a bold, strong leg asking for attention. So we decided to give it room to show off by making a table large enough for 10 persons. When completed, we had a well proportioned table anchored by the legs fit for a the castleâs emperor. Construction Notes: We start with four pieces one inch thick by thirteen inch wide by nine feet long. For this table we get the wood before gets to the saw mill. The legs are hand lathed and the finish is hand rubbed producing the sensuous, babyâs cheek finish. Dimensions: 90 ½ inches long by 48 inches wide and by 30 inches highProduct details...
Parenthesis Dining Room Set
Because we love the 45 degree joint when we first started thinking of a new table, the Parsons concept came to mind, but that has ben done. So we started with a blank and one goal: the legs would dominate and contain the table. Our final legs were both straight and angular outside and rounded inside. The unique internal carving gives the legs a slick, thought out look. Like with all our tables the top is done in mahogany so the grain is rich. The curvy chairs establish a contrast with the restrained table. The backs of the chairs seem slightly tilted against the straight lines of the table, their back is designed with two different faces, their backs are not mirror images of their front. The skirt and legs of the chairs suggest a parentheses which gave the name to the set.Product details...

Rope China Cabinet
This china cabinet was designed following the golden rule of proportions, so its two pieces which allow easy handling and travel, naturally merge together. The carved pineapple, the universal symbol for hospitality, in its crown welcomes your guests. Itâs hand carved rope columns frame, hold and unite the two pieces into one. The top unit has glass doors to store and display your china while the base unit hold your silver and linen services in drawers and bar materials behind its lower doors.Product details...
Roses Buffet Console
The roses in this piece were designed as a sculpture to be applied on the âcanvasâ formed by the front of the console built to accompany our roses table. The treatment of the console roses is different from the those in the table making the two pieces a coherent set of distinctly asymmetrical components; different flower shapes, branches, roots and stages of bloom. Initially we wanted the front of the console in glass so as to be looking into a window thru a rose bush. But the art of the hand forged piece was so good its reflection in the glass was a distraction, making the piece busy. So we ended with our original design intention of making the console the canvas of the sculptured rose tree.Product details...
Santo Domingo Dining Table
This piece was inspired by a memorable combination of materials in the foyer table at the a bar of the Santo Domingo Hotel in Antigua Guatemala, a Colonial convent restored to perfection. Like the inspiration our table combines a wood top and a metal base. Our rendition reflects the colonial inspiration with curled endings both on the top and the bottom of its sturdy metal legs and a round, six person, hand rubbed mahogany top. At the same time having removed all unfunctional decorations â the bottom curl makes the table sure footed while the top curl is the stability lock for ring supporting the tableâs top â the table is a modern artwork. And even more so with a glass top also. Dimensions: 68" x 29 1/2"Product details...

Centaur Tabouret
A domesticated mythical centaur for your den. This sturdy accent piece begs the question, âdo I ride it or put it under glass too keep it from running awayâ?.. The Centaur Ottoman is timeless and evokes many questions. From Picasso to Greek metaphysics of self-realization the referenced mythical deity has been the object study and attention. The placement of the Centaur in your livingroom, the vanity in your bathroom or bedroom will proclaim your self confidence. Design Notes: Pablo Picasso is one of our heros. The moment we first saw his Minotaur drawings, the inspiration of this piece, is still fresh in our memory. Like the source of Picassoâs creation, our Centaur elicits passionate reactions. Some love it, some are in awe and others react with fear. Achieving a piece capable of evoking such strong and conflicting emotions is a designer's dream. Construction Notes: This carver's tour de force requires many days of meticulous work. The tabouret is made of aromatic cedar, its cushion upholstered with distressed horse leather. Mangrove Chair
This chair was done to complement our a figurative hand forged metal mangrove table. It is petit and easy to accommodate in any corner. The oval shape back was drawn when the forger ask me how I wanted the oval. Surprisingly he reproduced my sketch exactly as I had traced it, including the my signature traces outside the oval. When he showed me his work we laughed but liked it . My traces gave a perfect niche for the bird. Construction Notes: The back is one piece from top to bottom. So it is has a very strong of structure. The seat has a 3 inch high quality foam rubber sponge for comfort.Product details...
