The rare Paua shell can only be collected by free diving. We use the interior of the shell ( also called the sea opal) which is an iridescent swirl of intense green, blue, purple, and sometimes pink colors. When the shell is applied on our thick borders, the effect is magical. An added detail is subtle cut flowers that are randomly placed throughout the mirror.

Rarely seen in home decor, Lapis lazuli is a semi precious stone prized since antiquity for its intense blue color. It has been mined for 6,500 years, and trade in the stone is ancient enough for lapis jewelry to have been found at predynastic Egyptian sites. Our application includes a delicate vine scroll in a contrasting cream and also comes solid.

We are always on the lookout for exceptional products that reuse and repurpose materials. In India, this wood was used as mold for cast marble window screens. We loved the geometrical shapes and formed them into a decorative wall panel. A mirrored backing and thin wood frame kept your eye on the panel. Consistant in pattern. Each piece has unique wood and aging.
