Get Inspired by the beauty of nature and bring the out doors in. I remember when I was growing up my favorite things about the fall included the smell of bon fires in the air, the change of colors and the decor my mother made sure to spread throughout our entire home. Pumpkin’s and gourds spread around the house made you feel like everyday was spent surrounded by nature. make sure your house says fall with easy and affordable accents from your local farm or grocer.

Remember when you were a child and it was your birthday or Christmas? Remember finding that one oblong present wrapped with a bow because it was extra special? Tearing back the wrapping to reveal a pink box with white script boasting the name on every little girls lips, Barbie. The original blonde bombshell was your favorite toy; due mostly to all the great accessories she required. Well now Barbie is no longer sitting her behind on plastic, shes moved up in the world thanks to the creative mind of Johnathan Adler. Though the interiors may have changed the house is still all Malibu.

Adler has combined alot of his own furniture designs along with pieces made custom for this particular project. The interiors respresent alot of key design ideas which Adler incorporates into his work on a regular basis. By keeping with-in his groovy mind set as well as mixing in classic Barbie colors like pink and orange, Adler has been able to bring the famous doll’s pad to life.

Now even though we love the work and the Interiors make us swoon we have to be realistic when it comes to incorporating this style into our own homes. Key design statements that will turn your space into a dream home like this are: Bright bold fabric choices, edited accessories, custom floor coverings and unique furniture pieces. By incorporating these into your home you can achieve the Barbie “look” with out overding it.

Life can be complicated and busy.  With Aidan Gray Furniture, the simple feel and look allows your mind to uncomplicated….there is something to be said for simple. Great Dining Chairs with style can be found at Aidan Gray. When you find that great dining table at your local flea market, these chairs  are the perfect fit.  Much of the Aidan Gray product is solid wood, spun and carved by hand.  Each piece then is distressed  by hand in a 5 step process.  The weathered Paris Finish is a heavily distressed finish which includes chunks of wood removed from the surface, heavy distressing and varying degrees of finishing on each side.

Constructed from European Oak each frame is carved and then burnished to a rustic patina and covered with elegant light linen and burlap.  Seat cushion is hand tied springs which delivers a firm seat lasting much longer than your basic stuffing.  Each loose cushion is foam wrapped down and set into a pocket before covering.

Bleached and beautiful.  Whether you love natural full time or for your vacation home, Aidan Gray hits a bulls eye with design and finish.  European Oak finishes are more rustic in their finish appearance and are not smooth to the touch.  You should expect a raised texture finish.

Aidan Gray has a broad line from upholstery, occasional to case-goods where you can accomplish the feel of simplicity through out your home. The Grand Roll Library Club Chair is constructed from European Oak and each frame is carved and then burnished to a rustic patina.  Seat cushion are in hand tied springs which delivers a firmer seat lasting much longer than your basic stuffing.  Each loose is a cushion foam wrapped down set into a pocket before covering.  Exposed nail heads lend to a more uneven edge appearance and bumps.
